This Privacy Policy describes how Moov Driver ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Moovservices, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our driver application.

1. Information We Collect

Phone Number: Collected during sign-up and login for identity verification via one-time password (OTP), processed through Firebase Authentication.
Account & Trip Data: Information related to your driver account and trips, stored on our backend servers.
Device & Diagnostic Data: Firebase may automatically collect limited technical data (e.g., app crashes, performance logs, push notification tokens) to keep the service reliable.
We do not collect or track your device's location in the background or foreground. Google Maps/Places is used solely for displaying maps, routes, or address search, and does not continuously access your device's GPS location outside of what you explicitly provide (e.g., typed or selected addresses).

2. How We Use Your Information

To verify your identity and authenticate your account (OTP via Firebase).
To operate core app features (trip management, driver profile, notifications).
To send push notifications related to your account or trips (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Firebase (Google) — Authentication (OTP), Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and data storage. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
Google Maps / Places API — for map display and address lookup. See Google Privacy Policy.
Moovservices backend servers — store account and trip data.
4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the App, or if required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your phone number and account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at administration@moovservices.com. You can also delete your account directly within the App, if available, which will remove your associated data.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including those provided by Firebase and our backend infrastructure) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by licensed drivers and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when new features (such as location tracking or in-app payments) are activated. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
